Tony and BAFTA Award-winning, Nicholas Hytner’s exclusive talk at The Conversation next week, on Tuesday 18th of March at St Martin-In-The-Fields.

Critically acclaimed film producer and artistic director, Nicholas Hytner will be talking about his new production of Richard II, starring Bridgerton’s Jonathan Bailey at The Bridge Theatre. Delving into Shakespeare’s exploration of humanity and power alongside Cambridge historian, Helen Castor, the pair will be discussing power, masculinity in crisis, and a nation brought to the brink of catastrophe.

Previously the Artistic Director for The National Theatre; Now the Artistic Director at The Bridge Theatre, Hytner boasts an impressive roster of productions including Julius Caesar, Guys and Dolls, in addition to his award-winning films, The Madness of King George and The History Boys.

 Nycholas Hytner and Helen Castor will be speaking at The Conversation, London’s newest literary talks programme hosted by former Hay Festival Director and Booker Prize Chair Peter Florence, taking place every Tuesday night at 6.30pm at St Martin-in-the Fields from now until Tuesday 6th May, and featuring Britain’s leading thinkers, scientists, philosophers, historians, and writers, addressing some of the biggest political, social and environmental challenges of our time.
